Definitely not my favorite. Supposed to smell like amber but smells burnt

I love the smell after it sits on the skin a bit. Sweet, with a light musk tone, but not sickening sweet. Really wish it lasted longer though.

I was pleasantly surprised at how long this lasted. It goes on strong and then mellows out and lasts all day without reapplying. Powdery and sweet woodsy not overly so for me. I like it.

Loved this scent. Very long lasting (hours). The scent is very amber-y and not overly sweet. It's very strong when first applied but settles through the day and is very pleasant.

Seriously love this for fall/winter. It’s soft yet sexy with a definite amber scent if you like that. I absolutely love it and have got many compliments on it. Wears very well too.

It’s rich and warm. A little on the spicy side, unfortunately my chemistry makes it even spicier. Good for winter and evening.

The Amber's a very frontal note but not as musky as I'd like. Strong initially but fades nicely.

I usually love any juicy scent, they are addicting. This one isnt bad, its just maybe not my style? Ive noticed a few of my fragrances have a certain note I'm not loving so I'm trying to pinpoint what it is and branch out.

Very unique fragrance and definitely smells like incense. I might purchase the full size because nothing else smells like this and it has decent longevity.

I love most of Juicy Couture's scents but this was my least favorite. I also usually really like "amber" scents. Not so much with this one.

Really hated this fragrance. Smells too planty and sour. Way too strong. I tried it for work and I smelled disgusting all day. I couldn't wait to get home and shower to finally get rid of the smell.

I love amber scents so I was excited to try this one. Unfortunately it's too musky & woody for my liking. I layered it with a sweeter perfume so it's not as bad but I wouldn't wear it on it's own.

When it is first sprayed, a floral scent emerges but it passes so quickly that one might miss it. Then the full bodied woody, musk, spicy and sweet scent comes forth. I love this modern/chic scent

I really thought I’d love this one. All I smell is black pepper. Once it’s on for a bit it’s not so bad but definitely not a favorite scent.

I am in LOVE with this Glistening Amber scent from Juicy Couture!!! It smells SOOOO good! It has a sweet, deep, warm, autumn-y, kind of smell to it. If you like sweet scents, warm scents, or spicy scents you'll like this one. I have already put it on my calendar again so I can get another bottle of it in a few months! Might even buy a full size depending on how pricey it is :)

I absolutely love this scent, my first thoughts were that it smelled like a perfect version of one million by Paco for women, I think it smells quite similar to that scent but with a slight feminization. It is sweet but with warmth that makes it mature and sensual.

I didn't like this scent at all. I love amber and thought it would be a nice smell, but it very strong and not at all the comfort amber I imagined it was going to be. It assaults my nose and invites a headache.

I thought this one would be nicer than it turned out to be. I was disappointed.

I wasn't a fan of this perfume. It smells very strong to me, very musky and heavy. And I get a strong berry smell after a few minutes, but fake berries. Then there was a powdery scent. It's a little overwhelming. I havent worn it yet because of how strong it is. I'm worried about it causing a headache. It may smell better once it settles and isn't as strong.

Smelt smoky in a not great way.

At first the scent is pretty spicy and you can really smell the incense and a little vanilla. Once it settles you mostly smell some of the sweeter notes, like the raspberry. Two totally different scents. I prefer the initial smell though personally. It doesn't seem to last long though and its not very strong surprisingly. Interesting smell, just wish the incense and vanilla was stronger and lasted longer. Liked the scent but don't love.

Long wear, beautiful amber smell

A very simple, warm fragrance, but quite lovely. Great for daytime wear, and for casual evening outings, but I would pick something more complex and sexier for a date night. Not overpowering at all, and has decent staying power, about 6 hours.

Thought would have more vanilla notes don't like the spiciness.

It's quite versatile. This scent is suitable for day or night as the balance between sweet and dark, of floral and amber, is nearly perfect. I've never been a Juicy Couture fan; in fact, encountering some of their older scents will make me headachy and nauseous. I only liked their rose fragrance until trying this amber creation. It's not a hot weather scent due to it's strength, but easily worn the rest of the year.

Not sure how I feel about this fragrance. It is overpowering and overwhelming with the smallest amount. Once the scent dissipates it is much more preferable.

The scent is strong and lasting which I like however the fragrance is not my cup of tea. It has too much of a spicey/ incense like smell.

Smells like a head shop. Just overwhelming hippy vibes and it’s really strong. It could be okay for someone, but I really like more mature scents. I only wear it around the house or if I’m going hiking or something.

This scent is absolutely not for me. Although"glistening" does fit, this smells nothing like any "amber" scent I've ever smelled before. To me this is a very bright, high pitched scent; not for me at all. It's so young as to almost be childish.

Lovely and warm scent, a bit strong at first but very long lasting. Some subtle clove spice notes may be offensive to others with breathing conditions, but at the right place and time, this scent is a show stopper!!!

Nice warm oriental scent

Absolutely love the scent. My daughter walked in the room and said it was meant for me. Smelled warm vanilla musk. A little goes a long way. Definitely just a very light spritz on the wrist will last all day.

This is a very SWEET scent; somewhat reminiscent of that artifical "cotton candy" or "tutti-fruitty" flavor we're all familiar with from various hard-candies. Though I do enjoy the smell, it is kind of... Immature? I'd prefer this scent to be coming from a cheap sweet treat, definitely not something I would wear in public. It's the kind of aroma I'd associate with folks who may be on the "less complex" side... Or who are teenagers.

I LOVE JUICE COUTURE..but this was just a -meh- for me

Too sweet for me.

First time i sprayed it I felt disappointed, I thought it smelled like an antique soap or some cheap masculine cologne. But nope, you have to allow the incense to settle down on your skin for like 15 minutes and then enjoy that sweet and sophisticated aroma all day long. The sharp incense and warm loud amber give a sophistication and depth to the soft vanilla, so it wouldn't smell like some teenager vanilla splash. It reminds me of Guerlain l'instant a lot once it settles down. Longevity is perfect and would last a whole day and you'd still be able to smell it the next day. Amber really works with my skin so the silage was extremely good. It's also a fragrance that grows on you.

Is that frankincense? Patchouli? Either way, I didn’t like this one. I felt gross and musky sweet when I wore it. Like a grandma in church.

I love Juicy Couture fragrances, but I’m only giving this one 4 stars, because the name Glistening Amber is a little misleading. The smell is definitely a mature, strong scent- with stronger notes of Incense and Musk, rather than Amber. Still a very good perfume, though.

This scent is a night time scent. It's got deep smells like tobacco, chocolate or burnt tires. It smells good but not for day time. It's a good fragrance for colder weather also. I picture wearing it with a sweater and jeans.

Too sweet for my taste. Smells similar to those Britney Spears scents I wore in adolescence.

I'm in love with the smell but it doesn't last very long :( It reminds me of one of my favorite perfumes, Michael Kors Sexy Amber. I do enjoy Juicy Couture perfumes and this is one of my favs. I'll definitely buy it again. I love Oriental scents and Amber and incense sit well on me. Give it a try ;)

This was definitely not for me. I think the incense ruined this for me. I immediately got a headache and had to change my shirt and wash everywhere it was sprayed. I agree with another reviewers opinion about it smelling like old lady perfume. I like having opportunities to try fragrances and experiment. It was a learning experience. Also, for longevity I chose poor only because I had to choose something abs I washed it off almost immediately. I do not know the true longevity.

Love this smell but it honesty resembles Burberry Brit for her.. pretty much the same key notes except that Burberry lasts a lot longer.

Sweet and bright

This DOES smell quite ambary in fact it smells very similar to 24 gold by scentstory. the issue with this scent is that it lasts about 25 minutes that's it so if you really love this scent I would get 24 gold by scentstory because that last a very long time 12 plus hours whereas this sadly the performances is bad

Looking for more of a vanilla base scent

I wanted to love this scent and I thought I did the first time I sprayed. However, the next time I put it on it smelled like paprika. Since I had been cooking earlier I thought maybe the seasonings I had been mixing seeped into my pores. Well I wore it for a third time and it still stinks like paprika. I do get a slight Amber musk smell but that other scent is to over powering.
