Way too much of an "old lady" scent for me. It's overwhelming & very strong. I sent it back.

Very strong but not overwhelming. I love the rose oil scent along with the other notes that make it a mature scent. I haven't had a perfume from this brand that I didn't like.

I sent this one back because it’s a beast-mode powdery musk, like many classic perfumes, and gave me a headache. Just not my style but well crafted for what it is.

I was trying to figure out what I was going to say about this and to my surprise the person before me took the words from my head. VERY OVERWHELMING so much so it's makes you a little light headed. Old lady smell correct like seriously potent roses.

Strong smell. Youthful. It’s not bad, but it’s also not my preference.

I’m not a fan of this. The rose is overpowering and with the musk and patchouli it smells like an old lady to me. Top notes are Lavender and Bergamot; middle notes are Bulgarian Rose, Moroccan Rose, Patchouli, Iso E Super and Geranium; base notes are White Musk, Ambroxan and Vanilla.

Love the heavy scent..... perfect for me because perfume usually disappears on me.

I have a love/hate relationship with this scent. The patchouli is exactly as strong as I hoped for, but the rose is almost overwhelming. It lasts 3-4 hours at most, but it is extremely strong when first sprayed. I did my usual once at the neck and once at the wrists and others commented that it was too much.

I was so excited to get this because I love rose scents but this is awful. It's very powdery and synthetic. The dry down is bearable but otherwise it's a scrubber. Disappointing.

I love this fragrance! I first got the scent on a sample paper in a magazine and I wanted to be able to actually try it on myself and see if it works for me and compare it to other fragrances, which is the whole reason I subscribed to scent box. It smells just as great as I remember and I’ll probably buy it in a full size!

Anything with Bulgarian rose or and patchouli works well on me. This is a wonderful woodsy with a hint of fresh crisp green. Anyone near me always mention how good I smell men or women. Not to heavy and a couple sprays wrist collar bones I'm good to go for a good 8 hsours.

Juliette Has A Gun has been hit or miss for me. I LOVE Anyway and Not a Perfume. This one is awful. Smells very "old" and is almost bitter. It could just be how it mixes with my own chemistry but...yuck. No.

I really enjoy this fragrance. It reminds me of a warm Fall day. It lasts a long time as well, for good or ill.

Gross. Smells like when you open a package of toilet paper. Almost nauseating, so of course it's longer lasting than most.

This is my favorite fragrance I've gotten from Scentbox. It's not for everyone -- it's got a sharp bitterness to it, and it's a fairly strong perfume. But I love the sharp, clean smell of it.

I actually give this a 3.5 stars. It is not for me. It is way too strong. For me it triggered a migraine. I only used it once and will be gifting it to someone else.

If you're looking for a long lasting fragrance, this is your perfume. Not crazy about the top notes, it does smell like an old lady. And it did not mix with my body chemistry well, it smelled like I was trying to cover something up and I had just showered. Very strong fragrance, it was all I smelled all day long and I only used two small spritzes on my neck like I always do. I so love nearly all the Juliette Has a Gun line, but this one is definitely a leave it. Thank God for exchanges!

Smells awful! Like an old lady that bathed in floral soap. It's extremely strong and doesn't fade with any good undertones.....won't be purchasing that and I'm finding that some of these fragrances are smelling like they are the left overs of the barrel....not impressed.

I absolutely HATE the top notes, but when they wear off about 30 minutes later...amazing! Truly worth the wait! Sweet and a touch of spice.

I like the scent but hate the top notes. For the first few minutes I smell like a gym locker that has been sprayed with a floral crap spray trying to cover it but after the top notes disperse the fragrance is lovely. It also lasts forever. I spray it in the morning as I am walking out the door and can still smell it when I get home like 10 hours later.

On my skin, this just smells like perfume, not offensive but nothing special either. It's not "the one" but I'll keep looking and have fun while doing it...

Warm and powdery to me. This will be great for cold weather. Has a spicy musk that isn't overpowering at all and made me want to keep smelling. Lasted a good whole with low activity. I get the "grandma" vibe a little bit but I'm excited to try it again with a different lotion

I had smelled a small sample of MMMM before and liked it. I had originally ordered MMMMM, Juliette has a Gun. My bottle arrived broken, the fragrance had leaked out. I contacted ScentBox to let them know what happened and they said they'd send me a replacement. I was quite happy about my experience at that point. A few weeks passed and Lady Vengeance is what they replaced MMMM with. It's just okay, - I ordinarily like Juliette Has a Gun fragrances, but as other reviewers have said, Lady Vengeance has a kind of "an old lady" trait and I'm not crazy about it. I won't buy it and really sad I never got the MMMMM I originally ordered. :(

It is quite strong. Very oriental, musky scent-which is what I usually really like. After you spray it, it does settle down a little bit. Not really a daytime scent- it is more of a nighttime scent.

At first when I sprayed the perfume it really reminded me of "old ladies perfume" but after the initial strong scent wore off I actually liked the perfume and have had multiple compliments on it. I'm choosing three Stars only because the initial smell was very close to turning me away from the perfume altogether but glad I did give it a chance.

This scent is very strong when you first spritz it. I usually love a deep, musky scent, but this one I was not too fond of. It does simmer down to a bit more of a floral with time, but even then, it wasn't a hit for me. However, the lasting power is great and it definitely lingers.

You've just received a dozen fresh cut roses from the love of your life. You take that first long, deep inhale and your world is suddenly brighter. I love rose perfumes and have many. This is the most authentic of them all! Longevity is poor but it's worth spraying a few times throughout the day.

I love this scent. It starts off strong, so I recommend holding it away from your body a bit and then spraying, but afterward, it is an amazing scent. I've been wearing it for the past few days, and by the end of the day, it's so much sweeter than when it was first put on. The longevity of it is good too, I can put it on at 7AM and it will still be on come 12 to 13 hours later! It's definitely a scent worth trying.
