This smells like old lady to me. The sandalwood is very overpowering.

Loved it! It is a subtle scent that just tickles the nose. It is classy and fresh, something to wear in the day time during the summer months. Minimal sillage, meaning that you're not going to overpower the person beside you but they may catch a waft as you're walking by. It does turn a little powder after a few hours.

Smells great but very subtle

I'm not sensitive to powdery. A lot of reviews call scents powdery that I don't think are at all, but this one definitely goes on powdery. It fades on the dry down a bit, but it definitely reads a little older. It's lovely and complex, but mature. It's on the strong side and I only use one spritz. It lasts better than most of the other scents I've tried too. I love the longevity and I wish it was more what I was looking for.

It almost smells like a scented cleaning solution in a weird way. It smells clean fresh and a little airy. It's a very citrus spring type of smell. You only need one spritz in my opinion. It's a refreshing wake you up type of smell. Almost energizing

Toooooo floral, I thought I would never say that. It is very overpowering and for as strong as it is, I don’t feel the scent lasts all day.

For me this just feels too mature and strong. There’s something about the lavender and vanilla together that I find very off-putting. I wanted the initial floral and citrus notes to stay longer but they were gone as soon as it dried down. The lavender mixed with the jasmine and vanilla just read too artificial and felt like cheap perfumes from the 90s to me. Had to wash my wrists several times over several hours to tamper the scent.

Honey citruses are the first notes to reveal themselves on the skin, followed by all other notes over time. After citruses, you can smell the lavender field, then the rose itself. Over time, sandalwood, neroli, vanilla, and sweet notes are added to the floral freshness. On my cold skin, it also has good staying power, but on clothes, it stayed for several days. Eventually, it fades into a powdery scent of cleanliness and smells like a VIP fabric softener with sweet powdery notes. In my opinion, this fragrance is more appropriate for a night out or a date.

It is a little different from what I prefer but I do like this fragrance and it’s not overwhelming.

This scent is a little sweet but has a beautiful finish. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last on me at all.

So feminine! It smells like love in a bottle!

I find it OK, but not very compelling. It seems rather forgettable, to be honest. I find it a rather "old" fragrance, too. I definitely think it smells like it's from Guerlain, as it reminds me of some of their older fragrances from the 1980s.

Lovely floral scent with good longevity and perfect sillage. I could sit and smell this scent all day long. It's not heavy at all on the rose notes, and is in fact really well blended and rounded out with the other scent notes. Very pretty.

HOLY ROSES, BATMAN! Very floral, light citrus to cut the sweet tones. Lasts fairly well. Not my favorite. Wound up giving away.

At first it smells a little powdery and old lady, but half an hour later it then settled to a nice pretty floral. Unfortunately, it sits too close to the skin to even notice.

As much Hype as I have heard about this fragrance, I was rather disappointed. I immediately pick up on a citrus note when first applied but then it fades out to nothing. It does not last long on my skin or clothes. Gone in like 5 minutes. Most fragrances I have tried from the house of Guerlain have been amazing and long lasting... this was not one of them for me.

I quite enjoy this scent myself. I really love rose smells, and this one is definitely rose forward. Unfortunately, my boyfriend hates it and thinks it is for women of ages 70+. So, in my opinion it gets a 4, just let your hubby smell it before you buy!

Took a shot w this one. Love it but didn't at first. Even tho this is a toilette and not a parfum I'd suggest spray lightly anyway to avoid it being overwhelming initially. It doesn't come across as floral to start, but after it dries down it smells nice. Will purchase large bottle in the future.

If the scent lasted a little bit longer, this would definitely have gotten five stars from me. It smells so nice and fresh and floral and it's perfect for spring and summer. It's also gotten a lot of compliments. Unfortunately it doesn't last as long as other perfumes that I enjoy, so I had to dock a star.

Really pretty and hangs on for a while but is a bit strong. One spray really carries it along for a while. The rose fragrance is very strong, a little mature, but still nice for a night out.

I think it's pretty and a lot lighter than the original Mon Guerlain (I do still prefer that one though). It's nice for spring and summer but I wouldn't personally go out and purchase a full bottle. If you don't like the heaviness of the original and want something fresher, definitely give this a try.

This smells so good. It is a clean refreshing smell. Doesn't leave a trail but I can smell it on myself and that makes if perfect for at work. It's floral but not too mature of a scent. Will be buying this bottle soon

The original Mon Guerlain is by far my favorite scent so I was really hoping this flanker would be similar but more floral. It doesn’t remind me of the original at all and I really didn’t care for it. I sent it back.

One of my favorite scents.

I love this scent and when I wear it I always get compliments. In fact, my- co-worker always ask to borrow it. It kind of goes on strong for a minute but tapers through the day and stays on to wear people are always complimenting me. Think of it like a really good smelling shampoo that everyone always compliments. That is the only way I can describe how the smell lingers. Depending on your body you may have to refresh before going out, if going out is a thing anymore, but it should last until you shower.

I am not a fan of the smell of roses, but I am a fan of this perfume. The scent is not overpowering, and it has an almost citrus smell to the rose. I do love how the finish is soft. But that is my only complaint; the scent does not last very long, and must be reapplied throughout the day.

Sharper, fresh citrus notes detract from the gourmand coziness of the original. I thought I’d like this more than Mon Guerlain because I truly enjoy a good rose note. They tinkered a little too much with L’Original! It’s not bad by any means, just not my vibe. Glad I tried it but this is an exchange for me.

I think the best way to describe this is "perfectly average". It's kinda floraly and kinda powdery. When you imagine an "average" woman's perfume in your head, this is it.

This is a very different base note I have never used but it lingers on with a beautiful rose tone. I love it! One of my new faves.

She seems like a wild child while this is refined and ladylike. I took off a star because it doesn't last long, you have to reapply often.

I like this fragrance. I don’t care for the way it comes out heavy, but it quickly turns to a powdery floral scent that speaks to luxury. I would wear it day or night with a body spray to give it another dimension but works well on its own.

Very powdery. I love the spicy middle notes, but initially, I hate it. Doesn't last long enough for my tastes, especially when you don't like the first notes and have to constantly reapply. I think that I will toss it in my gym bag, but won't buy a big bottle and it won't go into my regular rotation. I usually wear Chanel No,5 and Bulgari Omnia Coral for reference.

Old lady ISH. It's not bad, however it's very strong and smells more like an older lady, not grandma smell but a mature older lady. I'm 23. The scent didnt match me. Gave it to my mom and she loves it.

If this scent lingered longer I would have given it 5 stars. The scent itself is wonderful. I found myself choosing it time and again over the other scents I have. I did truly love it but I hope they can improve the lasting power of it.

Love at first smell. Floral, sweet and delicious. My only complaint is that it doesn't last long enough. Of all the new scents I've tried, this is by far my favorite and is now a mainstay for me.

Very pleasant, but unremarkable, and poor lasting power. I absolutely love the original Mon Guerlain. This takes the rich iris and vanilla base and thins it out quite a bit. And combine that with a sweet but natural-leaning rose heart. Not that sweet, but still sweet enough to be in the Mon Guerlain genre. Clean in a freshly showered way, but not soapy, and thankfully, not green. I will use this up but wouldn't buy a big bottle. I think I would love a perfume that is like this, but stronger, with a slightly richer base, as the original MG offers.
